Just giving to help

If you have found my Just giving page then you would have already read this. If you haven’t then please do read and please donate anything you feel you are able to. Many thanks.

After suffering for nearly 2 years with what I thought initially was age related back pain, I now know it was due to a chronic spine condition called Spondylolisthesis for which I am awaiting referrals. Since before Christmas, I have been unable to work but in this time I have been absorbing information from various sources of social media and am truly upset by the extent to which some people in this world suffer. Images of starving and displaced children as a result of war is SO utterly wrong and I would like to try and help those that are helping them. I have never had the opportunity to try and raise money for a worthy charity but have been fortunate enough to receive help from various professionals and would like to give something back. Whilst the time I now have spare is about my recovery and/or preparation for possible spinal surgery, I would like to help those who are suffering more than myself. I am not good for much physically due to my lack of mobility but I can volunteer my hair. I have been lucky enough to have been put in touch with the lovely Stephanie Radford and Chloe both of whom work at the Bristol based hairdressers, Bangshanky. They are both willing to help me in my quest. This quest is for me to get a mohican haircut, yes a woman in her 50’s is getting a mohican! As a benchmark, if I can raise £500 +  then I will dye it pink!

Please support me, it would mean so much to bring some positivity to what is a very daunting and arduous time of my life and the lives of those who are too young to be suffering as they are.

If you are able you can donate on Just Giving.

Thank you
